Dear Juniors and Families,
Junior 1 on 1s are underway! Beginning Monday, February 9th until March 13th. Each junior will receive a google calendar invite to their DOE email with the date and time of their meeting. During 1 on 1 Meetings, we will discuss:
- Progress to Graduation (GPA, Regents, and CTE)
- Financial Eligibility & Financial Aid
- Letters of Recommendation
- College Interests & College Lists
- Summer Opportunities
- Senior Year Schedule
Junior Family Night
On Thursday, February 26th, from 6pm-7:30pm, we will be hosting Junior Family Night!
During Junior Family Night, we will discuss:
- Progress to Graduation
- Junior Year Events & Timelines
- A Preview of Senior Year
- The Postsecondary Process at Maker
- The College Process & Financial Aid
- And More!
Dinner will be catered for those families and students joining us! All younger siblings are welcome to join as well!
Exciting Upcoming Trips:
We have a bunch of new college trips coming your way! When we return from break, you will hear more about our booked trips to New York University, City College, and Morgan State University. Stay tuned for permission slips and more trip announcements when we get back from break!
