Welcome to UA Maker's College and Career Office!

Our mission:

UA Maker aims to provide an immersive postsecondary curriculum. Each week in advisory, students participate in structured lessons that build upon their postsecondary education through college and career exploration, building their college list through a "best fit" scope, college application completion, financial aid education and completion, and matriculation tasks. All students will graduate Maker with a plan, no matter the postsecondary pathway they choose.

December and January:

It's financial aid time! Beginning in December, we will be completing the FAFSA! Students will be completing the student portion in senior seminar class AND by individual appointments. Parents can also make appointments with the College Office for help with the parent portion of FAFSA.

Beginning in January, students will be completing the NY State financial aid application, TAP. Our goal is to have the FAFSA application and TAP application submitted by Friday, January 17th.

For parents to complete the FAFSA, they must have:

Created an FSA ID (if you already have one, you do not need to re-make it!)
Have a copy of your 2023 taxes available (if you filed)
You have the option of:
- Being invited from your student by email
- Beginning the FAFSA form on your own and inviting the student
