1 on 1 Meetings:
  • This is week 3 of Junior 1 on 1 Meetings. So far, I have met with 76 students where we have discussed their progress to graduation, how they are doing in their current classes, regents, their college & career interests, and we finalized their senior schedules.
  • I encourage all students to share our meeting document notes with families, especially which courses you selected for senior year.
  • If families would like to add or change courses selected in our 1 on 1 meeting, students can come by my office, Room 408, and parents can email me at [email protected] or call me at 212-225-0890 x4447.

Family Intake Form:
  • During 1 on 1 meeting with me, students will be given a Family Financial Intake Form. We encourage every family to fill this out and return it to the College Office (Room 408) or email it to [email protected].
  • This form will allow the College Office to determine if a student is eligible for opportunity programs, scholarships, and will aid in helping to build a college list. This intake form along with your 2025 taxes are essential in completing financial aid applications. We strongly encourage every junior family to complete this form and have your child submit it to the College Office.
  • Find the Family Intake Form in Spanish HERE

Student Led Conferences (SLCs):
  • Student Led Conferences will be on March 18th and March 19th. If you would like me to join your SLC, please let me know or reach out to your advisors so I can make myself available.

Brag Sheets:
  • Juniors have begun submitting their brag sheets. You will have time to revise your brag sheets. I want students to keep in mind that brag sheets are extremely important in the college application process. If you put a lot of effort into your brag sheet, you will get a strong letter of recommendation.
  • Reminder that the brag sheet is used by teachers to write their letters of recommendation and me, as your counselor to write your letter of recommendation.
  • If you would like any help on your brag sheet, I am available each day before and after school.
