Baruch College Content Creator Paid Internship

Baruch College’s Division of Enrollment Management is seeking a creative and motivated high school senior to join our Communications team as a Content Creator. This position offers the opportunity to gain real-world experience in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing within a higher education environment.

The Content Creator Intern will assist in developing engaging content, promoting campus events, and building our institution’s online presence. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, has a keen eye for visuals, and is familiar with various social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative and engaging content (images, videos, stories, etc.) for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and YouTube.

  • Assist in managing the College’s Admissions and BaruchOne social media accounts by posting content, responding to comments, and monitoring engagement.

  • Help promote upcoming campus events, academic programs, and student services through dynamic and visually appealing posts.

  • Stay up-to-date on social media trends, challenges, and best practices to incorporate them into our strategy.

  • Track social media performance and provide insights on engagement metrics, suggesting areas for improvement.

  • Work closely with the marketing team, student groups, and other departments to align social media efforts with broader institutional goals.

Qualifications:

Education: Current high school senior with an interest in marketing, communications, or digital media.

Experience: Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Experience with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.) is a plus.

Skills: Strong visual storytelling skills, creativity, attention to detail, and an understanding of social media trends.

Availability: Must be available for part-time hours, with a flexible schedule to accommodate school commitments.
