Baruch College’s Division of Enrollment Management is seeking a creative and motivated high school senior to join our Communications team as a Content Creator. This position offers the opportunity to gain real-world experience in content creation, social media management, and digital marketing within a higher education environment.
The Content Creator Intern will assist in developing engaging content, promoting campus events, and building our institution’s online presence. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, has a keen eye for visuals, and is familiar with various social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop creative and engaging content (images, videos, stories, etc.) for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and YouTube.

Assist in managing the College’s Admissions and BaruchOne social media accounts by posting content, responding to comments, and monitoring engagement.

Help promote upcoming campus events, academic programs, and student services through dynamic and visually appealing posts.

Stay up-to-date on social media trends, challenges, and best practices to incorporate them into our strategy.

Track social media performance and provide insights on engagement metrics, suggesting areas for improvement.

Work closely with the marketing team, student groups, and other departments to align social media efforts with broader institutional goals.
Qualifications:
Education: Current high school senior with an interest in marketing, communications, or digital media.
Experience: Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Experience with content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop, etc.) is a plus.
Skills: Strong visual storytelling skills, creativity, attention to detail, and an understanding of social media trends.
Availability: Must be available for part-time hours, with a flexible schedule to accommodate school commitments.
